After the success of Munna Bhai MBBS, the team has struck again with yet another fun filled comedy. This film provides an extra dose of laughter with Munna and Circuit making us laugh more than ever. This time munna falls for a radio jockey Janvi (Vidhya Balan) and tries to woo her by impersonating as a professor. Janvi who runs a home for old aged people invites him over to lecture on Gandhiji. Being deeply in love, munna goes all the way to the long forgotten government library to get some gyan about bapu. In the midst of which he starts feeling Gandhiji’s presence in his life. The doctors associate this condition to some ‘Chemical Loccha’ in the brain. My favourite part is the radio sessions, where munna gives Gandhian solutions to his callers and they also use the same approach to get back Janvi’s house which the cunning builder (Boman Irani) has seized.
Being a practicing gandhian myself, I loved the movie as it provided the right dose of fun along with a reminder of our long forgotten Indian values of patience and perseverance, something which ironically we Indians have pushed to the backseat. Good performance by the actors who have played their role with élan. It’s a complete three hour fun filled scintillating ride. Bole tho Gandhigiri Zindabad!
